Summary

A local church needed a more functional and attractive basement hall. The old suspended ceiling and lighting were outdated and limited the space. We were brought in to open up the area and give it a brighter, modern feel.

The Work

Removed and disposed of the old suspended ceiling and lighting in the main basement hall
Supplied and installed a new white suspended ceiling grid with commercial-grade 2'x2' tiles
Raised the ceiling height and eliminated unneeded bulkheads for a more open look
Installed sixty new LED lay-in light fixtures, wiring them to separate switches for flexible control
Relocated gas and water lines, addressed visible knob and tube wiring, and performed site cleanup throughout the project

The Outcome

The hall now feels more spacious and bright, with consistent ceiling height and new energy-efficient lighting. The improved layout makes the basement more inviting and usable for gatherings.
